June 24th meeting, K7AGE speaker

The club had a treat in our speaker, Randy, K7AGE, who did a program on AO51 and made a contact!

Randy has done some great work for Amateur Radio by presenting some interesting videos of many aspects of the hobby via YouTube. Go there, search his callsign and enjoy.

With some luck, the bird was passing directly over Sacramento during meeting time. Could you ask for anything better than that? Armed with his HT, an Arrow Antenna mounted on his tripod, A few calls and then bingo! a contact!.
